We provide professional blasting, ultra sonic cleaning, and de-gassing of any product before applying any coating. The cleaner the surface, the longer the powder will adhere to the item without flaking or changing of color over time. This is what separates us from ‘industrial’ or assembly line powder coating. We take the time to assure a show room finish and protect assembly areas from possible chipping during assembly from machined surfaces to mounting of hardware. This is where the extra labor cost comes from. Powder coating an entire assembly is not only bad for the product as the seals and bearings should never be subjected to these temperatures, but it also chips or flakes when disassembled. We do not provide these types of discounted coating services.

We also offer welding and machining of cracks or broken aluminum.

Average labor cost for just stripping, blasting, degassing, taping, and powdercoating can start around $325. S281 lids are slightly higher. Welding and machining is more. Our labor rate is $130 per hour.
