We provide professional blasting, ultra sonic cleaning, and baking of product before applying any coating. The cleaner the surface, the longer the powder will adhere to the item without flaking or changing of color over time. This is what separates us from ‘industrial’ or assembly line powder coating. We take the time to assure a show room finish and protect assembly areas from possible chipping during assembly from machined surfaces to mounting of hardware. This is where the extra labor cost comes from. Powder coating an entire assembly is not only bad for the product as the seals and bearings should never be subjected to these temperatures, but it also chips or flakes when disassembled. We do not provide these types of discounted coating services.

Average labor cost for single stage powders on most superchargers is around $325 for a centrifugal and around $600 for a roots or twin screw supercharger complete with manifolds and plenums. Our labor rate is $130 per hour. Price is adjusted accordingly for smaller models with less pieces. We use Prismatic Powders with over 6,500 colors. We have experience with single stage, dual stage, wrinkles, veins, metallic, textures, casts, and glazes.
