Description

2015+ Dodge Hellcat 2.4L IHI Drive Snout Gasket that fits KONG PERFORMANCE ported drives and bearing plates ONLY!  A gasket is required in this area. This gasket is the correct compressed thickness. This gasket is made to follow the port shape of the bearing plate and the drive snout, so that the gasket does not hang-up into the ported area- messing up the airflow. Made in the USA by JB Performance. Bearing plate in picture IS NOT included and only shown to compare to the gasket.

Lack of a gasket or use of silicone will cause the following issues:

• Preloading drive snout bearings incorrectly, which leads to early bearing failure.
• Preloading gear side bearing or pushing them out of the pockets, causing rotor and case wear.
• Altering of rotor timing due to incorrect pre-load.
• Noise.
• A noise that sounds like power steering whine, but coming from the supercharger.

Once the damage is done, a rebuild is required to correct the error. A gasket will will not solve the issues above, if they have already occurred.
