- GM 3800 Series 2 (L67) M90 Supercharger core. This is for Series 2, Version 3. See picture for red arrow. Your unit must NOT have a black 3 port vacuum tree in this area. **
- Core is fully disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned, vapor honed, and rebuilt. If the external coating is significantly damaged, chipped, or flaking, we replace it with Prismatic Powders color matching powder.
- We don’t just clean the unit, replace a few of the worn parts and send it back out, like competitors. We FULLY remanufacturer the supercharger. NO BEARINGS OR SEALS ARE RE-USED.
- Bypass bearings are replaced to avoid annoying vacuum leaks.
- JB Performance Supercharger oil- the best in the business. Reduces gear case temperatures. Made in the USA.
- All drive snout bearings, front and rear rotor bearings are replaced with SKF or equal that exceed specifications.
- Flouro-rubber SKF front seal, OEM style PTFE rotor seals- can take Methanol or Alcohol injection. No glued in or pounded in rubber seals that are not designed for the application.
- Upgraded Eaton genuine carbon fiber coupler.
- JB Performance DimpleX ceramic coated rotors. Reduces rotor heat soak. No coating to flake off and plug the intercooler. Performs better than the OEM coating.
- Includes mounted pulley and bypass valve.
- Any internal parts that are worn are repaired or replaced.
- All assembly labor and testing.
- Supercharger comes with oil, but oil is NOT preinstalled. Just remove protective film, add oil, keep dirt and dust out of it, and place into service.
*Core fee: To receive the $350, the supercharger must be well packaged on return, be rebuildable, have a working bypass and pulley. Bearings, seals, and rotor coating condition does not matter. Any significant or shipping damage could affect core value, so we suggest to pack in original packaging.
**Fitment Notes no one else tells you: There are 3 changes within Series 2.

- 1st version: The outside of the entire unit is coated tan and ‘looks’ like a series 1. It has a 3 port vacuum tree mounted on the bypass side. Primarily used in 95-96 build dates.
- 2nd version: The main case is bare, gun metal gray drive snout, but also has the 3 port vacuum tree mounted on the bypass side. Primarily used in 96 build dates.
- 3rd version: The main case is bare, gun metal gray drive snout, but does NOT have the 3 port vacuum tree mounted on the bypass side. The port is not drilled out in the casting. Primarily used after 96 build date.
Version 1 and version 2 are compatible with each other other than the colors. Main picture is 3rd version, which is the most common.
